Mosaic Photo had the true privilege of shooting Erin and Mike’s wedding. A while back, C.J. and I had shot their engagement photos. Their wedding was a great reflection of their personalities. A small, intimate ceremony with family. Then, we got to spend a lot of time with just the bride and groom taking portraits of them. After that, their reception was a fun party, with games and our photo booth.

It really feels like we made great friends with this amazing couple. Congrats, Mike and Erin.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the day. We tried to balance their personality and taste, balancing a retro look with some bright and vivid, modern shots.

Here are the rest of their wedding photos.

Here are some of my favorite cake shots of from this year.

We tried our Photo Booth again

We previously told about how we did a photo booth at a wedding. It’s not really a booth. But we have a white background, lights, and props set up for guests to come have their picture taken by us at the reception. So far, it has been well received by the guests and the couple getting married. It adds a fun, interactive dimension to a wedding reception.

Here are some selects from the photo booth from Erin and Mike’s wedding.

Wedding portraits and reception coverage

At Mosaic Photo, our mindset is client driven. We have a wedding price list that we use as a starting point. While this price list offers three options that are fitting for the majority of situations, we work with our clients to make sure they have the perfect wedding package.

Eric and Anna had a very small, intimate ceremony. To keep that intimate atmosphere, they didn’t have us cover the ceremony.  We worked with them, deciding to take the formal portraits at the Crestview Country Club, where the reception was being held. After the portraits, I stayed and covered the reception.

These are a few of my favorite wedding photos from Eric and Anna’s day.

Last Saturday, we got the opportunity to shoot pictures at a really fun wedding.

It really was a fun day of taking photos.  Great music, happy people. It was the perfect atmosphere for some really cool images.

At the reception, I used one of my favorite lighting styles for events and dances.  I put a strobe at opposite corners of the dance floor. This way, we get some nice, dramatic, dimensional lighting while making sure we keep things well defined.

Here are a few images from the wedding/reception.

More to come. Probably.
