<p>Like I mentioned in an <a href="http://themosaicphoto.com/blog/09/product-study-canon-ef-24-70mm-f28l-usm/">earlier post</a>, I learn a lot about photography by experimenting.  Last May, I took a picture of my new shoes:</p>
<p><a title="Shoe. by justin*, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/89231809@N00/2514947820/"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2377/2514947820_47c82491c0.jpg" alt="Shoe." width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>Then, I recently needed another pair of running shoes (since I misplaced one). So, with my new camera, I took a picture of them. Click through to see the lighting setup.</p>
<p><a title="From the Future! by justin*, on Flickr" href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/89231809@N00/3290792205/"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3241/3290792205_b4664c5401.jpg" alt="From the Future!" width="500" height="333" /></a></p>
<p>I like the result, and think I&#8217;ve grown as a photographer over that time. So that&#8217;s good &#8211; I&#8217;ll have to keep experimenting!</p>

<p>This past week, Canon announced a <a href="http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/eos5dm2/index.html"><span style="color: #993300;">new full-framed camera</span></a>. 21 megapixels of beautiful goodness. It&#8217;ll be great in low light, and will be sure to give us rich details for our <a href="http://themosaicphoto.net">wedding, portrait, or commercial endeavors</a>. Sure, we&#8217;ll be able to make a life-sized print of you off of these files. But big files mean great detail and gives us a lot to work with in our post-production. This is one of the most exciting cameras to come out in my time as a photographer.</p>
<p><em><strong>I&#8217;m so getting one.</strong></em></p>
