C.J. and I had the pleasure of shooting Mike and Erin’s engagement pictures.  We knew it was going to be a good session when they offered us coffee right as we walk in, and Blind Pilot is playing. We started off at Erin’s house in Riverside, then shot some in Riverside Park.

We love it when photos really display personalities.  Our favorite shoots are about interaction, and this was a great example of photos coming together because of the natural, fun nature of Erin and Mike coming through.  They’re somewhat retro, which is a bit of departure from our normal processing, but these photos screamed to be dated to match the subjects and tone of the photographs.

Hi guys! I have been meaning to follow your photography journey and just got lost. But, I found you–finally! All I can say is … YOU’RE AWESOME!
Okay. I am scared of heights and that one photo–you know which one I’m talking about–did me in. How in the world did you capture that photo? It’s super-cool.

C.J. will climb anything for a picture! That’s a post for a later time: all of the things he’s climbed on to get a picture.
